Its that time of month again, I received my July 2015 ipsy bag today , and was extremely excited to open it as always. This month is my third month with ipsy. If you are unfamiliar with ipsy its a $10 usd monthly subscription service . You receive 4 to 5 beauty products in a makeup bag every month for a monthly fee. If you are canadian like me you have to pay an extra $4.95 for shipping and the exchange rate difference so it comes to around $18 cnd a month including shipping.
This months theme was summer lovin. Lets get to what i got in my bag this month.
Tarte amazonian clay bronzer
Price: Full size $36 cad, sample size $13 cad approx.
What: oil-free bronzer that fuses earthly minerals with naturally-derived ingredients for a natural-looking finish. It contains ingredients like vitamins A and E, and it's infused with mineral pigments.
Thoughts: Love that I got a tarte sample in my bag, they are one of my favorite highend brands. Never tried this bronzer but have eyed it out when at sephora. It is a pale golden bronzer that gives off a nice glow. This will not look orange on the fair ladies out there.
Jersey shore lip balm in vanilla coconut cream
Price: $12.76 cad
What: 100% natural and USDA certified organic lip balm . Fresh organic flavors. No petrochemicals. Nothing artificial.
Thoughts: I love lip balms and use them everday. Coconut has to be my favorite flavor/scent. Im also a huge fan of this being organic and no chemicals or anything artificial , big plus in my book. This has gone right into my purse.
Bellapierre mineral lipstick in P.I.N.K
Price: $25.51 cad
What: formulated with natural waxes and mineral pigments, iron oxides and antioxidants such as Vitamin C and Vitamin E. Mineral Lipsticks do not contain lead, lanolin, parabens, or other harmful ingredients.
Thoughts: This lip stick really surprised me, i did not think i was going to love this as much as i do. At first glance i thought this is dark not something i will wear everyday, but upon application it goes on much lighter and feels SO comfortable on the lips. Not much more to say but I love this lipstick formulation and i just might go buy more. Also loving that this is another lip product made with natural ingredients.
Eyetini swizzle stick eyeliner in blue hawaiin
Price: $22.98
What: Twist up eyeliner in bright pool Blue Hawaiian.Transfer-resistant formula.
Thoughts: Definetly not a colour I would buy for myself ever, but i like that its mechanical versus having to sharpen it. This will be nice on the lower lash line when i get bold and want a pop of colour.
Jorel parker roller ball perfume in the scent classico
Price: $26.80 cad.
What: The perfumes notes are:
Indonesian Clove Bud, Australian Sandalwood, Moroccan Rose, French Bergamot, Indian Tuberose, Japanese Orange Flower, Lebanese Cedarwood, Turkish Cyclamen, South African Freesia.
From company also know as harvey prince.
Thoughts: This smell is so different, I have nothing that comes close to this is my perfume collection. I honestly couldnt describe it if i tried. Not a everday perfume but I will wear when the mood strikes.
It all came in this blue,red,yellow, and teal tye dye looking bag which i got to say i dont like at all. I will be passing this on to someone else.
